Wellness or well-being can be a very broad term. Today the term has become so ubiquitous that its appearance may even spur exasperation instead of action. How to “feel better” can sometimes be reduced to platitudes pushed to your phone in the form of self-salvation listicles which cause more anxiety than relief. While it is hopeful that people are paying more attention to habits and lifestyles in general, the multitude of options or simply beginning can be overwhelming. Considering what resonates and makes sense for you, and how to realistically shift routines so that they are sustainable is not always straight-forward. Approaching your well-being is and must be very personal so that it is a worthwhile investment of your time.
How would it feel to be in a smoother continuum of well-being instead of making wellness just another stressful responsibility? Instead of going through cursory motions in the name of health, how can you begin to inhabit your life in a more meaningful way?
I understand what it is like to have dominating feelings of misalignment, self-doubt, and depletion, searching for lasting contentment. This kind of suffering motivated me to seek ways to exit the spinning. Consciously choosing to slow down, face fears, and live in a way that is more supportive of my values has helped me immensely. From this place of self-awareness, I find strength and more confidence to be a more engaged mother, wife, daughter, business owner, consultant, and friend, all stemming from the core of cultivating more compassion and contentment as an individual, one who is living in community with others.
I offer holistic guidance on prioritizing life’s desires and demands and recognizing which ways of living work best for you today. Everyone has different starting points, motivations, comfort levels, interests, and knowledge, which is why being able to consult one-on-one can be a useful and effective process.
My work with people is nurtured by two decades of work in education and creative endeavors, as well as dear family and friends, beloved teachers, and continual learnings from humanity.
Thank you for looking within.
With care,
Hannah
