Common Questions
How much time will it take outside of our bi-weekly meetings?
There is no set amount of time that you are expected to take action. What you implement depends on what your goals and motivations are. The more time and energy you put into this exploration, the more you will get out of it.
No matter what it is you are working on, the hope is that you create a sustainable and flexible way of living life to your fullest potential.
How do we meet?
We meet remotely, either by phone or video. I’m based in Los Angeles, so will be on Pacific Time.
What will the process look like?
Every meeting is led by what is presenting itself to you in the present moment while keeping in mind specific goals you may have. I will listen deeply to what you are sharing and provide compassionate support through honest and direct feedback, questions, advice, and resources.
In turn, I ask that you bring openness, curiosity, and honesty to your personal journey, as well as a willingness to take action and experiment.
After each meeting, you will receive encouragement and reinforcement in the form of a follow-up email with reflections from our meeting, potential next steps, tools and resources, and questions for self-inquiry.
How many sessions do I need to commit to?
In order to get the most out of your investment of time, energy, and money, I ask that new clients honor at least a three-month (six meetings) commitment to begin with. This allows time to discover what makes you unique and for you to begin engaging in supportive practices.
What topics could we explore?
Many. Career, relationships, sleep hygiene, meal planning, time management, stress reduction, imposter syndrome, meditation, yoga, toxins, transitions, overwhelm, better habits, finances, perfectionism, pursuit of dream life, resilience, balancing conflicting goals, lack of motivation, strengths and weaknesses, and how your thoughts and actions impact your overall well-being.
Are there any off-limit topics?
Not really, as long as it is related to maintaining a sense of balance, agency, and contentment, but I will let you know if something is out of the scope of my support, and provide a referral when possible.
How long does it take to feel like I can maintain my new system, habit, goal, etc., on my own?
There is no concrete amount of time, each person’s path is different. However, in general, continuous action for at least six months will hopefully bring you a feeling of self-efficacy and/or comfort in exploring new tools and ways of being. Some clients choose to meet with me beyond a set time frame, as part of their regular self-care/mental health maintenance; for instance, to be a point of contact for wellness check-ins and accountability, or in complement to therapy sessions.
I will never rush you, but working with me will help your personal growth happen faster.
How do I know if this is right for me?
Before you make any commitments, I am happy to answer questions and further discuss how I might be able to help. Please feel free to schedule a free initial consultation call.
